The explosion of a car bomb in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Wednesday morning, left seven people dead and 19 others injured, the Interior Ministry said.
The terrorist attack was recorded around 7:25 local time (03:25 GMT) in the Qasaba area of the city of Kabul, said Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi, said the Afghan agency Tolo News.
The people who were injured were transferred to several hospitals in the capital.
So far, no extremist group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but both the Taliban and the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant are active in the capital and have claimed previous attacks.
According to the ministry spokesman, the objective of the attack was not immediately clear and an investigation was being carried out at the scene.
