He started killing at 18. Romanian imprisoned for life in the UK for murder


A Romanian man has been sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday (November 12th), after killing a countrymen in the city of Kent in the UK in April, writes truth.ro.

He started killing at 18

Dumitru Palazau is 48 years old and had only been released a few weeks before committing another crime. Only a few days after he arrived in the UK, he stabbed another Romanian, Alexander Constantinescu, in the heart, according to thesun.co.uk.

Dumitru Palazu worked in a warehouse for packing fruits and vegetables. On Tuesday, November 12, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He will have to serve a minimum of 30 years in prison.

The judge addressed the convict as "a violent, ruthless and very dangerous envy".

The criminal was jailed for 9 years for murder in 2009, when he killed his partner's father in a beating. The first crime, however, was committed at the age of 18, when he was jailed for 6 years after killing another man in a scuffle.

Dumitru Palazu also had three convictions during 1994-2001 for violent aggression, writes verdarul.ro.
