Partial results vote presidential elections 2019


The Central Electoral Bureau presented partial official results of the first round of the presidential elections, which took place on Sunday, November 10, 2019. First, as the exit polls and opinion polls show, Klaus Iohannis is ranked second. The stake is the name of its competitor in the second round, which is scheduled on November 24.

For the first round, the Central Electoral Bureau validated the participation in the competition for 14 candidates.

UPDATE. The official partial results presented by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) after processing the data from 11,648 polling stations, representing 47 percent of the votes cast in the country, looks like this:

1. Klaus Iohannis – 36.74 percent

2. Viorica Dăncilă – 25.74 percent

3. Dan Barna – 11.47 percent

4. Mircea Diaconu – 8.80 percent.

UPDATE. The first partial results from DIASPORA. After processing data from 51 polling stations in the diaspora, the hierarchy is quite different: Klaus Iohannis is in a close race with Dan Barna. The first has 38.24 percent of the vote, while the second has 38.12 percent of the vote. Viorica Dăncilă is in third place, with only 5.37 percent of the votes, and Mircea Diaconu has 4.98 percent.

UPDATE. New partial results, after processing the minutes of 5,804 polling stations out of the 18,268 in the country, show the same hierarchy. The percentages of Viorica Dăncilă fall slightly, compared to the first results, while Dan Barna's climb.

The first partial official results show that in the first place the president is ranked, Klaus Iohannis with 35.61 percent of votes, followed by Viorica Dăncilă, with 27.7 percent, Dan Barna, with 8.13 percent and Mircea Diaconu , with 7.48 percent. There are results obtained after processing the minutes received from 1,931 polling stations out of the total of over 18,000.

When closing the polls, presence at national level was 47.66%. 8,683,379 voters voted, 5 million in urban areas and 3.6 million in rural areas. It is the smallest presence so far in a presidential election.

Exit-poll CURS-Avangarde credited Klaus Iohannis 39.0% of votes, followed by Viorica Dăncilă with 22.5% of votes, Dan Barna with 16.4% of votes, Mircea Diaconu with 7.9% of votes and Theodor Paleologist 6.1%.

Another exit poll, conducted by IRES, had similar figures: Klaus Iohannis – 38.7%; Viorica Dăncilă – 22%; Dan Barna – 16.1%; Mircea Deacon – 8.2%; Theodor Paleologist – 5.6%.
