The most polling stations are in Spain – 143. According to a posting by the Romanian Embassy in Madrid, which cites statistics provided by the Spanish authorities, 880,000 Romanian citizens in Spain are over 18 years old. Until Sunday, at 2:00 pm local time (3:00 pm Romania time), in Spain over 63,500 voters had exercised their ballots, by ballot box and by mail.

In Italy, the second country with the most polling stations set up – 142 – until the same local time, nearly 93,000 voters voted, at the polls and by mail.

In the United Kingdom, the Embassy of Romania reports on Facebook that it is "slightly crowded" at the two polling stations in Stratford, London. Until 13:00 local time (15:00 Romania time), at the 72 polling stations opened in the kingdom, over 79,000 voters were present at the ballot box, and over 400 voted by correspondence.

In total, until 3:00 pm Romania time, abroad, 471,000 voters exercised their right to vote in the 835 sections arranged abroad, and over 25,000 voted by correspondence, according to the online platform of the Central Electoral Bureau.

Except for the polling stations in Asia, where the electoral process ended at 21:00 local time, Romanian citizens from abroad can still exercise their right to vote at this poll on the third voting day on Sunday, at 07:00. -21: 00 (local time), with the possibility of extension if at the closing time at the headquarters of the sections there will be voters.

The right to vote can be exercised by Romanian citizens who are at least 18 years old, if this age has been fulfilled by the day of the elections including, at any of the sections organized outside the country, on the basis of an identity document valid on the day of voting.
