PSD keeps the image of the player in the big league

Cristian Tudor Popescu considers Viorica Dăncilă the winner of the first round of the presidential elections, due to the fact that – according to the exit polls on Sunday night – he managed to enter the second round. The press says that the votes received are in fact of the PSD: "She has no contribution here. ”

Cristian Tudor Popescu told Digi24 that Viorica Dăncilă is the winning candidate of the first round of the presidential elections "because he had no other objective than to enter the second round".

"In round 2, obviously the difference between Klaus Iohannis and Viorica Dăncilă can only grow. He has nowhere to vote. Klaus Iohannis will get enough votes from the USR, he will probably get many of the votes from the PMP, of the UDMR. Viorica Dăncilă can only take part of Mircea Diaconu's votes. There are quite a few who voted for the apoliticalism he displayed. The reckoning is simple ”, stressed the newspaper.

"It is an oxygen mouthpiece for the PSD, it will remain in the same formula, there will be no significant changes, through this tour two PSDs remain in the party image in the upper sphere of power, which beats Iohannis, with the PNL. If he didn't enter the second round, that would be the fifth consecutive loss. So the PSD has been defeated by democracy four times – at the European Parliamentary elections, by choosing Mrs. Kovesi as European Chief Prosecutor, at the censure motion and at the Orban government's investment. That would have been the fifth defeat. Still keep this image of a player in the big league ”, added Cristian Tudor Popescu.

"The result of Viorică Dăncilă for the party is not extraordinary, it is about the one from the European Parliament, just below, as the exit polls show, at 22:00 it is below. It does not represent for PSD any progress towards MEP and these are the votes of the party, not of Viorica Dăncilă. There are votes of the party apparatus, how well it worked, not all, that not everyone set the bone for Danca. She has almost no contribution here, "the newspaper said.
