UPDATE 11:10 AM: BEC representatives announced partial official results after the centralization of 95.89% of the votes cast.

Klaus Iohannis is in first place, with 36.91% of the votes, followed by Viorica Dăncilă – 23.45%, the two will face in the second round of elections, scheduled for November 24.

After collecting votes from all sections of the country and the diaspora Klaus Iohannis is in the first position with 37.8% of the votes obtained, followed by Viorica Dăncilă – 22.28% and Dan Barna – 14.99%.

The results are not official, they are not yet processed by the Central Electoral Bureau.


Klaus Iohannis leads the candidates in the presidential elections with 37.58% after counting 99.7% of the votes cast in
19,528 of the 19,586 polling stations arranged in the country and in the diaspora and centralized by the Permanent Electoral Authority. He is followed by Viorica Dăncilă, with 22.66% and Dan Barna, with 14.67% of the votes.

In the diaspora were received the results sent by 175 polling stations out of the 838. Klaus Iohannis obtained 51.6% of the votes, followed by dan Barna – 25.8%, Theodor Paleologu – 7.6% and Viorica Dăncilă 4, 1%.

According to the IRES presidential exit poll 2019, Klaus Iohannis won the first round of the 2019 presidential elections, with 38.7% of the vote. Viorica Dăncilă (PSD) took 22% of the vote, and Dan Barna (USR-PLUS) obtained 16.13%.
