The motorcycle registrations in the Spanish market they reached a volume of 13,159 units in October, which translates into an increase of 28.9% compared to the same month of the previous year, according to data from the National Association of Companies of the Sector of Two Wheels (Anesdor).
Last month, deliveries of mopeds they increased a 14.3%, up to 1,482 units, while those of tricycles they improved a 33.6%, with 187 units, and those of light and heavy quadricycles grew 10.5% (243 units) and 31.4% (184 units), respectively.
In total, the whole of the Spanish market of two-wheelers closed the eleventh month of the year with a commercial volume of 15,255 units, which translates into a 27.1% progression compared to November 2018.
Regarding two-wheeled electric vehicle registrationsLast month, 1,767 motorcycle units were sold, 615.4% more, and 387 mopeds, 8.9% less.
Between January and November 164,946 motorcycles were sold in Spain, 11.3% growth compared to the same months last year; 17,225 mopeds, 24.8% more; 2,323 tricycles, up 7.4%; 2,476 light quadricycles, 1.6% more, and 1,970 heavy quadricycles, 25.9% more.
The set of the two wheels added 188,940 records in Spain since the beginning of the year, which translates into a 12.3% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the eleven months that go of year they were commercialized 6,214 electric motorcycles, 48.8% more, and 4,781 electric mopeds, 88.7% more.
"2019 is being a very positive year for the sector. Citizens are increasingly committed to the use of light vehicles, such as motorcycles, more sustainable in environmental terms and offering mobility advantages in cities, "said Anesdor Secretary General José María Riaño.
