Very heavy rains are expected by the Cold Front 19


For tonight and early Tuesday, the cold front 19 runs through southeastern Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula, favoring conditions for very strong point rains north and northeast of Oaxaca.

As well as heavy rains south of Veracruz, Puebla, Tabasco and Chiapas; This system will stop affecting Mexico at dawn on Tuesday, the National Meteorological Service reported.

Likewise, the mass of cold air, which accompanies the system, will hold a “north” event with gusts exceeding 70 kilometers per hour in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec (Oaxaca and Chiapas).

There will also be gusts that can exceed 50 kilometers per hour on the coast of southern Veracruz, as well as fog banks in the highlands of eastern and southeastern Mexico.

On the other hand, a low pressure channel in the western part of the country will generate heavy point rains in Michoacán and Guerrero.

In the rest of the country, an anticyclonic circulation will dominate at medium levels of the atmosphere, limiting the conditions for rainfall in the national territory.

It was reported that an anticyclonic circulation will dominate in much of Mexico tomorrow, which will limit the conditions for heavy rains in the country.

Also, it will generate cold environment with possible frosts in the morning hours of this Tuesday, mainly in high areas of the north of the country.
