Volkswagen calls for review of 33,200 diesel vehicles in Germany


Volkswagen car brand will call for review in Germany at 33,200 vehicles with diesel engines, manufactured between 2005 and 2008, to make some modifications, German media reported Friday.

The vehicles affected by the call for review are 27,500 units of the Touareg and 5,700 units of the Phaeton, which have the Euro-4 emission standard.

Audi, subsidiary of the Volkswagen group, you should call review 89,000 diesel vehicles in Germany to remove illegal software, by order of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA) approval authorities.

The call for review of Audi affects the A4, A6 and A8 models with a six-liter three-liter turbo diesel injection (TDI) engine, manufactured between 2004 and 2009, with the EU4 standard.
